Biography

Having two parents in the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, it was only natural that Victoria Sabonjohn became a musician. Mrs. Sabonjohn began playing the oboe at age twelve, and became interested in music education as a career. Her degree in education focused on secondary education and she holds a teaching certification for music grades K-12 for the State of Florida. After getting married to Steven Sabonjohn in 2005, the newlyweds moved to Los Angeles, California. As a professional oboist, Mrs. Sabonjohn performs actively in the community, playing with several local orchestras and chamber groups. She also teaches elementary school instrumental music with the Children’s Music Workshop.  Mrs. Sabonjohn enjoys teaching private lessons and master classes and speaking on faith and music.
